Imposter Elite is a free multiplayer social deduction party game for 3+ players. Everyone gets a secret word or question — except one hidden Impostor. Each round runs in stages: see your role, give clues, vote, and score. Play online with built-in real-time chat or in person, each on their own phone. There are no cards to set up and no rules to explain, so it works well for game nights, parties, family gatherings, or whenever a group is bored and wants something to play. Free to download, with an optional Premium you can try free.

One player creates a room and everyone joins with a short code on their own phone. Each player privately sees their role — Civilian or Impostor. Civilians know the secret word or question; the Impostor gets a hint, a decoy, or nothing. Players take turns giving clues (in Word mode you go around three times), then everyone votes. Civilians score for catching the Impostor; the Impostor scores for surviving. Points add up across rounds until a winner is crowned. Setup takes seconds — the app deals the roles, tracks turn order, runs the vote and keeps score for you.

Yes. Create a private room and share the code, or join a public room to meet new players. Built-in real-time chat lets remote players discuss and accuse in real time, so friends in different cities or countries can play together without a separate video call. Prefer to play in person? Everyone just gathers in the same room, each on their own phone.

Three or more. Imposter Elite works with a small group of 3 or 4 and scales up to a whole party — everyone joins on their own phone, so nobody has to wait their turn or share a screen. Three to six players makes for a tense, focused round; larger groups get louder and harder to read, which is usually where the fun is.

Yes, Imposter Elite is free to download and play on iOS and Android. An optional Premium removes ads and unlocks all themed content packs — and you can start with a free trial to test everything before you buy. You never need Premium to join a game or to play a full round with friends.
